The Manitoba Conservatory of Music & Artsis so excited about our new home in Bryce Hall on The University of Winnipeg campus, the beginning of a new harmonious partnership with the University and The Collegiate! We’ve got so much to offer for all your musical needs and interests, and we can’t wait to get started and make you feel right at home.

The MCMA is Manitoba’s premier music education facility. More importantly — we are a musical community. We embrace and nurture the musical spirit of toddlers, beginners, students, dabblers, amateurs, professionals and even listeners.

We offerprivate lessonsin a variety of disciplines, as well asgroup programsfor preschoolers, children, youth and adults. The MCMA strives to build a community where music is accessible to all people, no matter their age, skill level, or financial means.

Individual Lessons

The MCMA offers lessons on all orchestral instruments, as well as guitar, voice, piano, accordion, and drums. Study classical, jazz, world, pop, blues or rock!

Group Classes

Do you enjoy the camaraderie and comfort of learning with others? The MCMA offers group programs in ukulele, harmonica, fiddling, jazz and string ensembles, singing, music appreciation and early childhood music.

Music Theory Department

To study music theory is to understand how music works. Whether you are preparing for a theory exam, or trying to improve your skills as a musician, we have a class to fit your needs and skill level.
