Boozhoo! Tansi! Aniin! Hello!

A warm welcome from the Aboriginal Student Council (ASC)! Our doors are open to all the members of the Aboriginal Students' Council between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

It is important that Indigenous students (First Nations, Metis, and Inuit) have a voice on campus. ASC advances the aspirations and interests of Aboriginal students in their efforts to achieve common goals. It advocates increased accessibility of post-secondary education for Indigenous students. The ASC promotes Indigenous culture both on- and off-campus.

温尼伯大亚愽国际app下载学的原住民学生Council is one of the larger student groups on campus. In order to become a member of the ASC you must add your name to our membership list, and be a currently registered student. You may sign this list, located in the Aboriginal Student Services Centre, at any time throughout the academic year. With your membership you have access to our computers, printers, phones, and on occasion, coffee, bread and other goodies.

The Aboriginal Students' Council keeps itself very busy throughout the school year conducting many cultural and social events. Our potlucks are held the first Wednesday of the month in the Aboriginal Student Lounge. Feel free to come out and enjoy the hospitality, listen to our guest speakers and learn more about our upcoming events, volunteer and employment opportunities, career planning and the other student organizations and events held here on campus.

One of our most celebrated events is our Christmas Feast held on campus in the Bulman Centre. Last year we had well over 125 people in attendance and next year we hope to have many more participate in this event.

We also have monthly 'Movie Nights' so bring your family and friends for a movie and hotdog on us every third Friday of the month beginning at 5:30 p.m. in the Aboriginal Student Services Centre.
