The Collegiate
The Collegiate is based in the historic Wesley Hall on the growing University of Winnipeg Campus, located in the downtown heart ofWinnipeg.
As a high school located on a university campus, the UW Collegiate provides opportunities for students to enrich their education with access to the UW’s library, labs, and free lectures in the arts and sciences.
Fitness
Our campus boasts modern facilities for extra-curricular activities including theAxworthy Health & RecPlex(opened 2014) which features an expansive artificial turf field and gymnasium.

Music
The UWC features new facilities for our music program. Our young musicians enjoy the ensemble space as well as the suite of music studios in Bryce Hall, which we share with our partner, theManitoba Conservatory of Music and Arts.
Virtuosi Concertspresent accomplished artists and ensembles from around the world to perform in UW’s Eckhardt-Gramatte Hall.
University of Winnipeg Library
TheUW libraryprovides access to hundreds of thousands of books, articles, videos and other sources. Students may search databases online for print and electronic material, and may also access sources via inter-library loans. Friendly staff are available to answer questions and help students navigate the stacks.
Campus-wide wireless internet
The University of Winnipeg offers free wifi to students, faculty, staff, and guests. We have recently upgraded wifi access in Wesley Hall and Manitoba Hall to increase speed and bandwidth for wireless devices on campus.
Art Studio
UWC’s art studio is home to our thriving visual arts program. Students feel at home in our bright, light-filled studio that features large workspaces for students to explore multi-media art forms, including pottery.
Gallery 1C03
UW’s campus includes an art gallery that primarily features artists from Manitoba and Canada.Gallery 1C03features three to four exhibitions during the academic year, many of which will have connections to academic disciplines.

The Collegiate’s computer labs feature windows PCs, MacBooks, and printing facilities. Additional computer labs are located throughout UW’s campus.
UWinnipeg Bookstore
Located in the AnX, theUW bookstorestocks textbooks for university classes, UW apparel, gifts, supplies, and more.
Medical Clinic
Klinic on campus provides health services, referrals, workshops, and appointments for students.
Food Services
Tony’s, an iconic Collegiate cafeteria, is returning to our campus. Opening in 2017, UWC’s new cafeteria space features food service, light-filled spaces for students to work, unwind, and enjoy our academic community.
Four additional cafeteria options are available throughout the UW campus.
Theatre
UW’s Asper Centre for Theatre and Film houses black box theatre, dance and mime studio, lighting design labs, and other features.
Transportation
The University of Winnipeg Collegiate is easily accessible via Winnipeg Transit routes. The Balmoral Rapid Transit Hub is conveniently located adjacent to our campus.
