Are you new to The University of Winnipeg? Do you need some help making the transition to a new school or new city?

What is the Mentor Program?

The University of Winnipeg Student Mentor Program aims to build community on campus by supporting new, first time students to The University of Winnipeg.

We'll match you with an experienced student who can help you learn about University life. You will keep in touch by phone, Zoom, text, or email.

Who is it for?

The Student Mentor Program is open to any new or continuing student at The University of Winnipeg, including International, Visiting & Exchange students, Newcomers, Rural Canadians, Adult Learners, and any other student who wants to meet new people, get some extra help, and learn new things about UWinnipeg or transitioning to studying online.

How do I register?

You will be matched with a Mentor within 7 days of submitting your application. Your Mentor will contact you within 1-3 days after being matched
