Career Advising

Career Planning:Undecided about your major? Not sure where your degree will take you? Connect with a Career Advisor to explore career pathways, learn about yourself, and discover new opportunities. We have various resources on occupation options, graduate schools and pre-professional admission testing. We can help you clarify your interests, evaluate your options, and with career decision-making.

Job Search Support:We can help you find ways to gain the experience you need to succeed after graduation. Connect with volunteering, part-time or summer employment. We can help you prepare your resume or cover letter, practice for interviews, and master the skills related to your job search.

Booking an Appointment

One-on-one appointments are a great place to start for all your career and employment questions. Academic & Career Advisors are here to help, regardless of whether you're a new UWinnipeg student, finishing up your education, or an alumni.

In-person Appointments
can be booked atmyvisit.comor by using the MyVisit app. Please specify in your booking that you wish to meet with an Academic & Career Advisor in person. Students will be required to show their student ID and proof of vaccination upon arrival.

Zoom Appointmentscan be booked atmyvisit.comor by using the MyVisit app. Please specify the type of appointment you are requesting in your booking. The Academic & Career Advisor you have booked with will send you a zoom invitation via email prior to your appointment. Please click on the link provided in the email and have your password ready to join the meeting at the time of your appointment.
