Building on theCall to Conversation (C2C) Conferencethat was hosted at The University of Winnipeg in partnership withTwo-Spirit (2S) People of ManitobaandQueer Trans People Of Colour (QTPOC) Winnipeg, the findings of the conference were revealed today in a packed Convocation Hall. TheCalls to Actionare a rallying cry for the community to continue the work creating safer and more inclusive spaces in our society. Thank you to all who attended.
At today’s launch, representatives from the community, including Uzoma Chioma, co-founder Queer-Trans People of Colour Winnipeg (QPOC), and Elders Charlotte Nolin, Barbara Bruce, and dione haynes, along with UWinnipeg President Dr. Annette Trimbee, shared thoughts and experiences about the conference and theCalls to Action.
