Call for Papers Crossings volume 6

Crossingsis an interdisciplinary student journal in the Humanities and Social Sciences at The University of Winnipeg. It welcomes student submissions on any theme relating to the Humanities and Social Sciences.

We invite undergraduate and graduate student work in the Humanities and Social Sciences, creative arts, and interdisciplinary studies.

We accept articles in all languages taught at The University of Winnipeg. They should be 10-14 pages long (Times New Roman, Font 12, double-spaced). Style guides should be APA, MLA or Chicago (Turabian). All papers will undergo review by an area-specific instructor andCrossings’ co-editors.

Submissions are dueJanuary 31, 2022.

Crossingsis a multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, academic student journal published annually with a mandate to showcase outstanding undergraduate and graduate research in the humanities and social sciences at The University of Winnipeg.

Crossingshas a gold open access policy, whichmakes all articles and related content available for free immediately on the journal's website. Articles are licensed for sharing and reuse via Creative Commons licenses (typicallyCC BY-NC 4.0).

A small print run is made for each volume published. Two print copies of each volume are submitted for the legal deposit program to Library and Archives Canada. Acopyis also held by the University of Winnipeg Archives. Additional copies may be available for purchase by contacting theChief Editor.
