Position Overview:

The new hire shall conduct survey(s) amongst our current student base and alumni about the potential addition and content of a Certificate in Human Rights to our academic programs offering. Our purpose is to strengthen the yearly gathering of qualitative and quantitative data within our student base and alumni. The collected data would be used to continue to promote Global College, the Human Rights, to recruit future students, to track student recruitment trends, to characterize their typical careers' paths and ultimately to increase our alumni engagement. Also, the new hire is expect to provide follow-up to the alumni-student mentorship program we officially started this year by way of surveying former participants.

Duties:

The selected candidate would be required to perform duties including but not limited to:

  • Developing survey(s) content for inquiring, within our current student base and alumni, about the potential content of a New Certificate Program
  • Reaching out to students and alumni
  • Holding interviews
  • Compiling research findings into a report
  • Scanning, categorizing and filing research materials
  • Proofreading and notation
  • Updating sections of the Global College website relevant to the related research
  • Initiate and coordinate student-alumni mentorship communications

Qualifications:

A general understanding and practice of research and data collection through various tools. Please notice that the demonstrated use and management of scheduling programs/software, such asQualtrics和其他流行的软件将被认为是一个sset.

Position Overview:

The Grants and Internships Assistant will be responsible for the planning, designing and execution of a continuous search on the World Wide Web for public/private grants and internship funding. S/he will also be responsible for generating a basic database management system that includes a wide array of records and information from the domestic and international funding community. This will system will allow future users to update, consult and manage the available funding opportunities throughout the calendar year.

Duties:

The selected candidate would be required to perform duties including but not limited to:

  • Serving as the initial point of contact between GC and the grants and internship providers
  • Attending on-line planning meetings, scheduling focused research tasks, filling and submitting requests for information to donors
  • Providing GC's directorate summarized information of potential grants matching CG's mandate, principles and strategic planning
  • Scheduling and Communicating to GC's directorate the upcoming deadlines for submitting grants and internship proposals
  • Updating the directory of Grants and internship providers
  • With the help of Global College's Office Coordinator, S/he will post funding opportunities for students on our website
  • Guiding students who apply to scholarships and bursaries with the filling of forms

  • Providing Updating sections of the Global College website relevant to grants & internship funding research

Qualifications:

A general understanding of interactive research for grant and scholarships funding through the Web.
