安妮特Trimbee博士答辩sed to announce that Dr. Neil Besner will serve an additional five-year term as The University of Winnipeg’s Provost and Vice-President, Academic. A review process was held earlier this fall, which included a representative advisory committee as well as an opportunity for members of the UWinnipeg community to provide feedback on the appointment under consideration.
Dr. Besner joined The University of Winnipeg in 1987 and has been teaching in the English department ever since. He was UWinnipeg’s founding Dean of Arts (2005) and has served in a number of senior executive roles at the University over the past decade, including as Provost and VP-Academic since 2012.
The UWinnipeg community extends best wishes to Dr. Besner on his reappointment.
