Bill Blaikie

Bill BlaikieA United Church Minister, the Hon. Bill Blaikie, PC.,has a BA in Religious Studies and Philosophy from the University of Winnipeg{73}, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Emmanuel College, Toronto School of Theology{77}. He was a Member of Parliament from 1979 to 2008, during which time he served in a number of capacities, including Parliamentary Leader of the NDP, Deputy Speaker, and Dean of the House of Commons. He was Manitoba’s Minister of Conservation from 2009 to 2011.
