WINNIPEG, MB – The largest gathering of eco-friendly businesses and products in Manitoba takes place at the Winnipeg Convention Centre on Saturday, September 11 and Sunday, September 12 featuring Diversity Chef Ben Kramer and The University of Winnipeg’s Alana Lajoie-O’Malley, Director, Campus Sustainability.

Alana Lajoie-o’malley，，，，Director, Campus Sustainability at The University of Winnipeg will deliver an educational seminar entitled Staycations & Green Vacations, at 3:00 PM on Saturday September 11, 2010 and again 3:45 PM on Sunday September 12, 2010. The seminar will guide participants through strategies for planning and enjoying a low-impact vacation. She will also be present throughout the weekend at the University’s exhibitor booth to spread the word about the University’s sustainability efforts, and to share ideas and lessons learned with individuals interested in greening their workplaces and homes.
