Campus Access Process
Follow these steps to ensure your campus access:

Important Notes:
1) The UW Vaccination Verification Centre is open fromNovember 15 - 26 and December 9(see operating hours below) to accommodate those who will be taking in-person classes in the 2022 Winter Term. The VVC will be located in Room2AX06 — which is the Multi-purpose Room on the second floor of the Axworthy Health & RecPlex.
Faculty and staff — please note:for convenience, newly ordered ID cards are to be picked up at the VVC until November 26 (and also on December 9). This will allow for the complete verification process to take place in one stop. Faculty and staff cards will be available for pick-up at the Human Resources office (7thfloor, Rice Centre) between November 29 and December 8, and from December 10 onwards.
2) The ID card with “campus access” sticker will need to be presented at designated access points to enter campus.
3) Effective October 22, 2021, only a green “campus access” sticker will be accepted for access to campus. Orange (temporary) stickers will be invalid.
4) Those who are unable to be vaccinated can submit a Vaccine Exemption Form to Accessibility Services (students) or the Employee Health and Wellness Specialist (employees) for consideration. The form can be found as Appendix A of thecampus mandatory vaccination policy.
5) If you require campus access and are unable to attend the Verficiation Centre during its operating hours to verify your vaccination status, you will have to be verified by one of the departments listed below. Please contact the appropriate office for details:

Designated Building Access Points
Students are required to enter and exit campus through designated access points that will include a security officer station. Faculty and staff will also need to use these access points to enter any buildings to which they do not have Salto access. Please be prepared to show ID at these stations to gain entry.
The following exterior doors will be open from 7:30 am – 5:00 pm for access by students and staff members with authorization to be on campus:
- Centennial Hall: main entrance
- Lockhart Hall: Ellice entrance
- Manitoba Hall: Balmoral entrance opposite transit loop
- Riddell Hall/Graham Hall: entrance from Marsha Hanen Way
- Duckworth Centre: main entrance
- RCFE: main entrance
- Asper Theatre: main entrance
- RecPlex: parkade doors
