August 31, 2021 - UWinnipeg further strenthens its vaccination mandate.Full vaccination from COVID-19 is required to be on campus for learning, studying, teaching, research, or work.Read more
August 27, 2021 - How to access campus.Effective September 7, the vaccination mandate applies to all UWinnipeg students, faculty members, and staff who attend campus for learning, studying, teaching, research, or work.Read more
August 19, 2021 - Vaccination required.为了进一步保障学生的健康ents, faculty members, and staff, The University of Winnipeg will require proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 to attend campus this fall.Read more
August 18, 2021 - Mask mandate.To reduce the risk of infection from and spread of COVID-19 and other respiratory viruses, we are requiring that everyone wears a facemask when indoors in university spaces. This mask mandate applies to all students, staff, faculty, contractors, and visitors. Exemptions will be made for individuals who require a medical accommodation.Read more
June 14, 2021 - Registration Update.The University of Winnipeg will resume in-person instruction for the 2021-22 academic year. The 2021 Fall Term timetable will be posted to our website on Tuesday, June 15 and course registration will open on Monday, July 5. UWinnipeg students will receive an email with their registration appointments later this week.Read more

November 10, 2020 -Increased restrictions in the Winnipeg Metro Region. Additional restrictions do not affect the classes, labs, and research activities that are already authorized to take place on campus – as these adhere to safety protocols under the existing public health order.Read more
October 31, 2020 - UWinnipeg adjusts to response Level Red restrictions.Students should not remain on campus unless they are attending classes or labs, or require the use of a computer workstation. Those without approval to be on campus are asked to stay home.Read more
October 13, 2020 - Winter 2021 Term Update.Due to the ongoing public health situation — and to safeguard the wellbeing of the UWinnipeg community — the Winter 2021 term will be delivered similar to Fall 2020; mostly remote deliver with a small number of classes on campus.Read more
September 25, 2020 - UWinnipeg classes not affected by new restrictions.Classes, labs, and research activities already authorized to take place on campus adhere to safety protocols under the existing public health order. April 6, 2020 - Update for UWinnipeg students.The Voluntary Withdrawal (VW) deadline for winter term (January 2020 - April 2020) and fall/winter term (September 2019 - April 2020) has now been extended to April 21.Read more
March 30, 2020 - Update for UWinnipeg students.The voluntary withdrawal deadline for both winter 2020 term (January to April 2020) and fall/winter 2019-20 term (September 2019 to April 2020) has been extended to April 6.Read more
March 23, 2020 - All campus buildings will close until further notice.Access will be limited to those who are delivering essential services, such as security, physical plant, food services and residence staff.Read more
March 19, 2020 - The voluntary withdrawal date has been changed.Students now have until March 31, 2020 to voluntarily withrdaw from Winter term courses.Read more
March 17, 2020 - Campus hours have changed in light of reduced activity.Beginning Wednesday, March 18 — the campus will open from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and is closed on weekends. This schedule will continue until further notice.Read more
March 16, 2020 - No in-person classes or exams this termExams may be conducted online, via Nexus, or other means. Students will learn by March 20 how final grades will be determined.Read more
